Being the ideal place for well-deserved rest and forgetting about stress, Casa Velas is a paradise where body, mind and spirit receive are pampered and rejuvenated. As part of the Wellness Program at Casa Velas, in which necessary care and attention is provided for recuperation from surgery, esthetic treatments and certain illnesses, alternative treatments are proposed. Treatments such as healing menus and physical activities promote wellness and really improve the overall feeling of health and vigor.

Some of the ingredients used in the preparation of healing foods are harvested directly from the botanical garden, one of the loveliest and most interesting places within the resort.

Within the garden, one particular species stands out, thanks to the medicinal properties found in its leaves, stems and sap. Neem is the name of this thousand-year old Ayurvedic ingredient from India that has proven curative properties for a range of ailments: from common cold and headaches to serious illnesses such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. The Neem tree is undoubtedly an incredible healing plant from which we hope to continue to obtain multiple benefits for our guests.
