Tropical Celebrations this New Year’s Eve in Vallarta-Nayarit
If you’re staying in Banderas Bay as the calendar turns to 2017, you’re in luck. Everywhere where you turn in Vallarta-Nayarit, New Year’s Eve events are sure to be swinging nonstop – from the early evening of the 31st, all through New Year’s Day. While you can certainly stay at your resort and enjoy what’s sure to be a lively onsite party, get tickets to a club, or spend the night searching for the next big fiesta, here are three of our favorite things to mix in with the rest:
Fireworks in Old Town & Along the Malecon
There’s nothing more romantic or authentically Mexican than celebrating the New Year with locals and visitors alike on the streets of PV. Start by savoring the last Pacific sunset of 2016 from the city’s famous seaside Malecon boardwalk. Grab dinner at a restaurant along the cobblestone walkway, hit a bar or few, and make it back in time for the fireworks at midnight. If you find yourself near the Old Town cultural heart of Plaza Principal de las Armas, no worries. You can also enjoy show there.
Join Pirates Aboard a Banderas Bay Sailing Fiesta
Want ring in 2017 from the water instead? Book passage on the Pirates of the Bay Night Show New Year Special, sailing from 6:30pm-1am.
