On March 27th, an agreement of support was signed between the business leaders of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay and the Consejo Nacional de Empresarios Turisticos (CNET), or the National Council of Tourism Leaders. In the agreement, the two powers pledge to join forces in benefit of the sector, and Banderas Bay leaders agree to represent the Council in this destination.

After appreciating the opportunity to open a direct line of communication between both organizations, president of CNET Pablo Azcarraga also thanked business leaders Enrique Tron, President of the Asociación de Empresarios de Bahía de Banderas , or Business Leaders Association of Banderas Bay, and Juan Vela, Vice President of Velas Resorts, for accepting the invitation to become part of the Council.
