The holidays are coming and if you’re going on a sunny vacation that often means one thing: Bikini Season. Well, if you have a plane ticket waiting for you but hate going to the gym, there’s a solution: La Blast, a new dance fitness program that not only gets you in the best shape ever, but also teaches you how to dance to different rhythms, from salsa to disco.

This revolutionary interval training was created by Emmy nominee choreographer and Dancing with the Stars celebrity Louis Van Amstel. He says “I run this class for the people who think they can’t dance or have two left feet, and offer five levels catering to everyone from the absolute beginner to the already experienced dancer!”

The Hollywood celebrity offered a La Blast retreat in Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit where attendees not only enjoyed the beautiful beaches but also got their groove on while listening to the top songs of all time.  While moving to Mas Que Nada, everyone was dancing their stress away and suddenly Party Rock came on and they hyped up even more.

The class is always changing and it is a major cardio workout at the same time.  But the program is not only about getting fit, it’s also a lifestyle that teaches you how to live healthy, and more importantly to love yourself.

An important part of the retreat in Vallarta was to really show attendees the lifestyle. Van Amstel organized a dinner where taking care of oneself was one of the main topics he discussed in order to start loving your body.

So now you know that we can all burn those calories the fun way going to fitness clubs offering La Blast. And, if you have ever wondered if Louis Van Amstel speaks Dutch … yes he does.
