Where to go shopping in Puerto Vallarta

When you go on vacation, you usually feel slightly obligated to bring back a souvenir for your family, friends or even coworkers. If you come to Puerto Vallarta don’t forget to visit these three places, which in my experience as a Vallartense (Vallarta native), are the best for shopping; here you will find the best souvenirs at great prices.

1 – The Rio Cuale Market

This has become a must-stop for all tourists visiting this beautiful port.  Here you will find everything: shirts, bracelets, rings, home décor; whatever you are looking for, it will be here. You also have the opportunity to choose the place with the best price, as the range is very wide. This is one of the most picturesque areas of the city; don’t miss walking across the famous suspension bridge.

2 – The Boardwalk

Puerto Vallarta’s iconic boardwalk is another place where you can easily find something to take home. Here you can get souvenirs and special deals depending on the amount you feel like spending. Meanwhile, you can also enjoy great food and amazing views of the Bay of Banderas.

3- Downtown

Although it sounds very extensive, the truth is that Puerto Vallarta’s downtown is not all that big. You can go walking, and as you get to know the city, take some time out for shopping. It is composed of just one main road and there is plenty of choice for everyone.
