Generously conceived in 2011 by Gilles Ste-Croix – a founding member of world-famous Cirque du Soleil – and his wife, Monique Voyer, tickets to the Annual Benefit Performance of Circo de los Niños de San Pancho have quickly become some of the hottest in all of Riviera Nayarit entertainment. In fact, their first full-length original show sold out in just minutes. Since then, the children’s circus group and training facility has rapidly expanded. This year’s performance is titled “Sueño de Una Noche de Verano,” or “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Inspired by Shakespeare’s otherworldly play, audiences can expect a magical rainbow of costumes and set design, gorgeously inhabited by performances by 70+ of the most talented children in all of Mexico.
About the Children’s Circus
Circo de los Niños de San Pancho is dedicated to harnessing the passion of potential of local youth, ages 4-19. Training ranges from juggling to a world of dance styles, acrobatics, aerials, trampoline, stilts, unicycle, trapeze, hanging ribbon, wheels, and wire work. Intimately connected to the global performance group, all materials are donated by Cirque du Soleil’s own Circo del Mundo program.
