Vallarta-Nayarit offers something for everyone; recently Atlanta’s idol Bobby Brown and his family were spotted enjoying of the lovely weather in Velas Vallarta. This All-inclusive resort is great enough to appeal the baseball superstar every January for several years now.
Bobby Cox mentioned us that he loves the excellent treatment and service provided by the resort’s staff year after year. He said that the port has become his favorite destination because he and his family can stay busy with the different activities it has to offer like watersports, golf, and whale-watching and amazing gourmet gastronomy.

Throughout his one-week holiday, Bobby Cox enjoyed of the different activities offered by the hotel, for example the different themed parties, entertainment live shows; and he also organized private beach parties for his friends and family.
During one of these we had the opportunity to chat with him and he shared to us some professional anecdotes when he was manager of the Atlanta Braves and Toronto Blue Jays. Moreover he remembered the challenging decision of returning to the city of Atlanta to manage the baseball team and come back to the family after several years of having lived in Toronto, Canadá.

In 2010, at the age of 70, he decided to retire being grateful with the people he worked with and helped him during his professional career.

This upcoming July 17th he will enter the Baseball Hall of Fame after being unanimously elected by the 16 members of the Veteran Committee. The Atlanta Braves’ number 6 led the team to the championship of World Series in two occasions 1977 and 1995, and has ranked fourth on the Baseball All-time Managerial Wins list.
