Pasitos de Luz, housed at Casa Connor, is a Civil Association in Banderas Bay, which empowers working moms and provides care for children with disabilities. Seventy children are attended daily and their goal is to reach 200 families by 2020. The association’s free of charge services range from physical therapy, psychological care, nutrition and wellness, education programs and so much more!
CAIAM (Integral Senior Center) Its aim is to improve the physical, mental and social well-being of the older adults through artistic, cultural, recreational, arts and crafts and occupational activities that promote their personal development. Currently, the CAIAM is home to 17 older adults, the facilities are equipped with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and recreational area.
Since February 1993, Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo opened its doors to orphaned, abandoned, disadvantaged and vulnerable children and has been dedicated to improving their lives providing them with food, shelter, education, clothing, and love from dozens of volunteers.
Casa Velas organize for its guests a special Mexican cooking lesson, and the dishes prepared will be taken to Asilo San Juan Diego, a non-profit assisted living residence. So, you will enjoy warm affection and good stories from senior residents!
