I traveled with my wife and decided to get into a wellness plan during vacations. We gladly found that the Wellness Suites at Grand Velas exceeded our expectations; we were pleasantly surprised. I found one of the most comfortable beds I have ever tried, a huge terrace with jacuzzi upstairs, a double lounger and a massage bed. We did take a couples’ massage on the terrace and the setting was more than beautiful. The prelude of this experience began at the Water Ceremony to prepare skin and muscles to receive the benefits of our treatments. The experience was sublime and the massage couldn’t be more professional.
The Wellness Suites include a series of special amenities (healthier snacks such as nuts and dried fruits and crudités, delicious morning juices – relaxing and invigorating were our favorites. The “vitamin C” shower was a real addition for my wife, especially after swimming in the sea and having a suntan session.
Gastronomy at Grand Velas is remarkable, and we enjoyed two of the award-winning restaurants, Lucca and Piaf, and they stand out for the originality of their dishes and the explosion of flavors that can be experienced. Don’t miss the lobster, onion soup and duck magret at Piaf. Pizzas at Lucca are to be remembered.
Definitely an extraordinary hotel that has exceeded all our expectations in addition to having a specialized suite, it also extends a healthy options menu and spa just like the other suites. Thank you very much to all the staff for making it a reality.
