Vallarta-Nayarit has an excellent gastronomical projection worldwide. The creations of this particular destination combine perfectly the essence and flavors of the Mexican Pacific.

Seafood is an important element in Vallarta-Nayarit’s food, that’s why I will share one of its most delicious dishes: shrimp ceviche! Test your culinary skills with this simple but delicious dish.


  • 2 kg of shrimp
  • 6 small cucumbers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 serrano chilies
  • Coriander
  • 20 Lemons
  • Salt and Pepper


  1. Wash all the shrimps and remove all their veins.
  2. Put the shrimps in a bowl and squeeze the lemons.
  3. Add a dash of salt and pepper and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Finely, cut in dices the cucumbers, onion, tomatoes, coriander, and chilies.
  5. Add them to the bowl and mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Finally, you can serve it with tortilla chips.

Finally you can accompany your ceviche with toast or chips .
