The North American Travel Journalists Association is a premier association of writers, photographers, editors, and tourism professionals dedicated to supporting the professional development of this industry throughout the world. The aim of the conference is to be a platform for networking between colleagues, and also to provide professional development seminars to its members for the ever-evolving communications channels.
The committee of the 2015 NATJA Conference chose the paradisiacal Puerto Vallarta as the place for the event. The reason? This city is one the top MICE destinations in the country; its multiple activities range from exquisite culinary experiences to the most energizing adventure tours. Moreover, its beautiful sunsets and views of the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean are the perfect frame to encompass the beautiful experience of meeting with colleagues.
The committee, integrated by Helen Hernandez, Ben Root and Yanira Leon, had the opportunity to visit the destination this past January; they enjoyed of different tours and activities, like visiting the gorgeous beaches of Yelapa and Majahuitas, practicing some golf at the Vista Vallarta Golf Course and enjoying a delicious dinner at La Leche.
Recently, the committee announced that Velas Vallarta will be the host hotel for the conference. This All Inclusive Family Resort located in one of the most prestigious areas of the city, will accommodate the attendees and will offer one-bedroom suites with all the services and amenities that will make this trip an unforgettable experience.
