Puerto Vallarta pulls out all the stops to celebrate their national independence during the month of September. It is a city full of Mexican traditions, from the charro (traditional Mexican dress cowboy) parade, to a military parade. On September 15 at 11:00 p.m. sharp, the City Mayor will read the declaration of independence from the City Hallâ??s main balcony, followed by the traditional shout of independence. After that, there will be fireworks downtown at the Malecon.
